IEA proposes several different programs according to your needs.

All year long, in the morning or afternoon, the standard course consist of 20 lessons of 45 minutes per week. It starts every Monday, at your requested date, except for beginner students in which starting dates have been specified.

Each group contains a maximum of 12 students and is made up of students of different nationalities.

The courses are taught using the direct method, this means that French is the language of instruction and use of other languages is avoided as much as possible. Grammar and vocabulary are taught in context, and schoolbooks including exercises are provided by the school. Much emphasis is put on the speaking ability of the students.

The intensive course consists of 30 lessons of 45 minutes per week. It starts every Monday, at your requested date, except for beginner students in which starting dates have been specified.

The intensive course is generally smaller than the standard course

Besides the morning courses including grammar and vocabulary, the intensive courses concentrates on the student's ability to speak. Quite often students notice a great deal of progress when taking the intensive course, and is recommended for students who wish to learn French in a short period of time, or for those who wish to continue with their French language studies.

The one to one course is the most successful way for students who want to learn French in a short period of time. The one to one course is recommended for anyone who wishes to learn French in a short period of time, or anyone preparing for exams such as the DELF, DALF, A Level, Matura, etc.

Content and time table can be arranged as requested by the student. Single individual lessons can ideally be combined with the other courses.

While progressing in standard or intensive course the student may opt to follow pre-exam courses for the following diplomas:

• Diplôme d'Etudes de la Langue Française issued by the French Ministry of National Education
• DELF 1st degree
• DELF 2nd degree (level required: DELF 1st degree)
• Entry examination for Nice University in view to prepare DALF

The french movie as a tool of mastering the french language and a way of apprehension of the french culture.

During may month: exceptional training revolving around International Cannes Film Festival with the possibility to attend to a competition premier show with the famous "montée des marches du Palais".

Registration dates: All year. A month in advance for the "Cannes Festival Training".

For students under 20, we organize courses throughout the months of July and August. This gives young students the opportunity to study in one of the world's most beautiful regions-the French Riviera. This experience will lead to adjustments, personal growth and a far greater understanding of life in other parts of the world.
